I am surprised that Obama had the time to visit his hometown
and voted early. This is the first time anyone has ever voted while in office
12 days before election. He voted at the Martin Luther King community center close
to his home from Kenwood. He also gave a speech about how everybody should vote
now so you don’t get stuck in bad weather trying to vote. I think it’s great
that he took the time of out his busy schedule to come to Chicago not only to
vote but to speak with his supporters.
Good post! It is interesting that he came here, but do you think it could have been a valuable stop? If he wants people to vote early if they can, isn't good that he did it himself to show how important it is? He would have had to come home to vote. The First Lady voted by mail, why do you think she did that?
